Meet Clare.

I was lucky enough to grow up in a historic farmhouse circa 1776 in Reisterstown, MD. Then in 2009, I moved west to Denver to teach yoga and practice holistic wellness.

It was there I bought my first home - a 1900 brick standard that was full of potential. Each year with the help of my partner, we update in big ways and small, always keeping the integrity of the house and honoring the time it was built. When it comes to life and design, it's important to embrace change, especially now that it includes our 3 year old daughter!

After a decade in health + wellness, I felt a desire to broaden my career and portfolio of skills. I decided to move forward with studying interior design at the New York Institute of Art + Design, and I'm so happy I did. At first making the leap to interior design seemed off track, but through yoga + holistic practices, working on my home and other people's homes, I have realized two things: First, the way you treat your home and the way you treat your body are the same. And second, stay authentic. When designing or styling your home, it's important to stay true to who you are and keep the history, to showcase and celebrate what's unique about you and the home you've built.

Being from a place so rooted in history shaped and inspired my love of aesthetic and beauty, and through my work I've learned that wellness and design certainly live in the same space. It's my goal to help people realize that potential in their own home.
